A quiet city day

First of all, today is our anniversary! We have been married for 6 years today, and I'm glad that we are in Costa Rica to celebrate!

This morning started out with a wonderful breakfast. We love our hotel - free internet, a delicious breakfast, the character of an old house, and beautiful gardens. Plus, it's only $40/night. The only bad things are that the rooms are small and not very sound proof at all, but it's still very nice.

We're saving our big adventures for later this week, but we knew we would be tired today so we just planned to spend the day exploring San Jose. We went to the national museum and enjoyed learning some Costa Rican history and exploring the butterfly garden. We both LOVE the plants and the weather here. Also, we did some window shopping for crafts but haven't bought anything yet. We spent a lot of time walking around and exploring the many beautiful parks and plazas.
