This morning after she finished breakfast, Eleanor turned to me and said, "poop." That's sort of her all-encompassing word for poop/diaper/etc. so I didn't think much of it. Well, 30 seconds later, there was poop.
Is this a sign that she's ready to potty train? I'm not totally sure, but I figured we'd go for it. I already had a potty chair from my mom, so after lunch she happily sat there for about 15 minutes while we read books. She actually threw a fit when I took her off! I would have stayed until there was "success", but it was time for her nap. I figure maybe we can start a routine of sitting there every day after breakfast and lunch and see if she starts to get the idea.
