We took Eleanor on her first camping trip this weekend! We only went for one night because we had no idea how it would go, but she LOVED it! We went to Blue Spring State Park with some friends of ours who also have a one-year-old girl. The whole trip went very smoothly! Eleanor slept really well too and somehow slept even later than at home. Hmmm, maybe we need to put her in a tent every night... Anyway, it was a fun, quick trip.
In the car, all ready to go
She loved her little chair.
She enjoyed eating her snack in her chair while she watched us set up the tent. I guess we were good entertainment!
This is blurry, but this is the very end of an in depth conversation between two one-year-olds about the pictures on their clothes.
Escape!
Going for an early morning walk.
Babies eating pancakes
Checking out the Blue Spring
In the winter manatees come here because the water is a constant 72 degrees. Supposedly they get up to 200 manatees here on cold days.
We went up to the head spring and you could see the water bubbling up out of the ground. If you scuba dive, this would be a really cool place to go. (You have to be a certified cave diver.)
She's not looking at the camera, but it's the best we got!
Just a pretty view
