I have now been to 32 states (plus DC and PR). Which one should be next?!
Eleanor has been to 15 states and PR and Arthur has been to 12. I keep a map for each of them and we color in each state after we visit it. Of course Arthur doesn't get this at all yet, but Eleanor was very excited on our trip with each state we entered because she knew she would get to color it in on her map.

I have to say that Michigan is really a beautiful state with lots of fun things to offer, but I am admittedly a bit biased ;) Also, South Dakota (Badlands & Mount Rushmore) is cool to see and Wyoming (Yellowstone!!) is BEAUTIFUL.
If you go to Yellowstone you can get Idaho and Montana as well as Wyoming.
