How is it that it's only been 2 weeks, yet I had over three hundred pictures to choose from? We've been rather busy, I guess.
We went to visit my mom in South Carolina to celebrate a big birthday for her on April 1. While we were there we went over to a state park and enjoyed some time on a playground.
This totally captures her personality!
Arthur had fun too!
My boy
Arthur got to spend some time with his cousin, Micah. They enjoyed holding hands.
(Micah is one day older than Arthur.)
Inspecting Micah
My favorite caption, from my sister:
"That's nothing, I had to ride in the car seat all the way from Florida!"
Buela and Papa Bob with 3 precious babies
Easter Egg Hunt #2
(I forgot my camera for hunt #1)
We hide eggs in palm trees in Florida
Sibling time in the pool
Arthur turned 6 months old!
18 lb 15 oz, 27.25"...though I swear he's already grown taller since then
75th percentile for weight and height
Child labor
Egg Hunt #3 - she was quite the pro by then!
"That sign says 'NO RABBITS ALLOWED!'"
Cute of Arthur
Minor miracle! They're both looking at the camera! (Sort of)
Arthur loved his Easter eggs
(Shh, don't tell him they were in Eleanor's basket 2 years ago)
Dipping our Rice Krispies eggs in chocolate with sprinkles
(Believe it or not, she did NOT get any on the dress! Not sure what I was thinking but I got lucky.)
This boy takes his food VERY seriously. He is pretty much always a happy baby, but he will throw tantrums - and I do mean tantrums - if he wants food and isn't getting it. I learned the hard way when we went out for breakfast that if people are eating food he will DEMAND to be eating food too. I don't mean that he wants to nurse; he wants what we are all eating. I was holding him on my lap and turned my attention away for one second, and he dived into my plate and grabbed a piece of bacon. So now I will always be prepared with food for him!
Those are pears, (very cooked) carrots, and green beans. He ate them like a pro! Well, except for the other half that ended up on the floor and in his chair...
Don't mess with this hungry boy.
Arthur has graduated up to the big tub!
And now for some videos!
Arthur loves his Jumperoo! And his sister!
This one is actually from February, but I just got around to editing it. (It was over 6 minutes long!) This is Eleanor "reading" her very favorite story, the Tale of Squirrel Nutkin by Beatrix Potter. Can you tell we've read it to her a thousand times??
