She LOVES to pretend to talk on the phone. Anything is a phone - my phone, my ipod, a plastic bus, her hand, etc. She holds it to her ear and babbles away. Here she is talking on my ipod. Be sure to notice her "I Voted" sticker that her daddy put on her!
She is very independent - most of the time - and loves to play on her own. Her Legos, blocks, Little People, and books are her favorites. Sometimes, though, I hear "Mama Mama Mama!" when she wants me to come play with her!
Our crazy early potty training seems to be working! Today was the 10th day in a row that she has either peed or pooped in the potty at least once. Most days there have been one success, but a couple of times she has even gone 2 or 3 times in a day. About half the time she goes because I put her there at the correct time, but about half the time she lets me know when she needs to go. Of course, we have had LOTS of false alarms! For every one time she actually does something on the potty, we probably make at least 3 unsuccessful trips in there. I'm learning a lot about patience!
Her newest words are "hot" and "cold" and I think she actually knows what they mean. Today I gave her some avocado that came out of the fridge and she said, "Cold!" It's kind of hard to teach her what hot is though, because I don't want to burn her!

She also knows the meaning of "touch" and "no touch." I'm positive that she understands me when I say, "No touch," but she doesn't always obey!
She's walking a lot better now. She'll walk on her own through the house and only crawls when she's frustrated or trying to get somewhere fast. She prefers to hold my hand, but she can certainly do it on her own.
Finally, here are some videos!
Waking up!
(She was already awake when I went in her room.)
Playing with Legos
(not blocks like the title says, oops)
