The best gift I've ever received!
Eleanor also got her first solid food today - sweet potatoes! She really seemed to like it, except for making a few funny faces. Be sure to check out the videos below. (I was going to wait until 6 months to start, but she has recently started eating a lot more frequently so I thought we would try this.)

Eleanor took her first trip to the beach today! She enjoyed dipping her toes in the sand. She's actually seen the Pacific before, but this was the first time she's seen the Atlantic.

So my husband was taking all of these nice pictures of us at the water's edge when a huge smile spread across his face. Seconds later, this happened. I said, "Didn't you see that water coming towards me?! You could have warned me!" He said he did, but he wanted a funny picture instead.
