More projects

I made 2 changing pads and sets of covers (one for the nursery and one to keep downstairs). They are so soft! To make them I just bought 1" foam at Joann's and then basically made a pillowcase with the green material to cover the foam. Very simple. Then I have the little flannel covers so I don't have to change the main cover often. To make the flannel cover I just cut out a piece of flannel and sewed the edges down on the back.

I made a mei tai using the pattern at this site. If you don't know what a mei tai is, it's a baby carrier. Watch the video about it here.

Finally, I just finished up a baby quilt! I'm making a special purple one for Eleanor, but I started this quilt years ago when I took a quilting class and I recently found the one block I had made. I realized I only had enough fabric left to make a baby quilt (and after 4 years there's little hope of finding more of the same fabric), so I went ahead and made this. The pattern is called Jacob's Ladder. The colors are so much cuter in person!

wow! you are so talented. i can't believe you made the baby sling. my sister bought me the same one for Ella and I know they're expensive. you're so lucky to be so crafty. you need to start a side business. :)

I love the quilt - making it is great therapy too. Hugs
