Catching up, part 2

Just some more pictures...

Eleanor got these conversation cards on her field trip to Publix.  They give you questions to ask at meal time, like "What is your favorite season and why?"  "If you could go back or forward in time, what time would you visit?" etc.  Arthur was pretending to read them and asked me some of his own questions:  "What is your favorite shovel?"  "What is your favorite fork?"  They were certainly thought provoking!  :)

Eleanor LOVES Legos.  They are her absolute favorite toy.  The Easter Bunny brought her that little set in front of her (it's a deer and a tree that you put together) and she noticed in the instruction manual that there are 2 other similar little animal sets.  I told her that I had seen these sets at Target and that they are $4 each.  I noticed her piggy bank sitting there and realized that we have never counted the money inside.  Over the past 4 1/2 years we've given her some random change, but I had no idea how much there was.  She knew that she needed $8 to get the two Lego sets, so we decided to count all of the change (including over 260 pennies!).  Believe it or not, there was a grand total of $8.01!  She is holding up the one extra penny.  Now that she is getting the idea of money, we are letting her do a few chores like emptying the dishwasher for a quarter.  We'll see how this goes!

Here she is at Target after buying her two Lego sets!  (I did exchange her pennies for bills/silver coins first!)  She was so excited!  Now we need to teach her about tax...

Such a fun morning at the zoo!

Oliver thought the zoo was fun, too!

Celebrating Earth Day with his first cloth diaper

My view on my first walk alone with 3 kids

All ready for his first Earth Day festival!  Of course, not a single person saw this outfit because I was wearing him against my chest the whole time, but at least I have a picture.

My boys!  Eleanor says this picture is "loveful".  I agree!
