Over the river and through the woods...

...to Buela's house we go!

(Actually, I know we passed over quite a few rivers, but I'm not sure that we went through any woods.  At least, no official named forests or anything.)

Eleanor and I had a nice weekend visiting with my family.  I didn't really take any pictures, but my sister took these on Saturday when we met for a picnic at the Riverwalk in Columbia.

After the picnic we had a little shopping outing, but somebody was too worn out to shop!

Eleanor insisted on having her first taste of popcorn, so we broke it into VERY small pieces.  It was a hit!  (Of course!)

All dressed up!

Unfortunately, our ride home wasn't as uneventful as I would have liked.  We stopped for lunch at Chick-fil-a and I locked my keys in the car!  Of course, I didn't realize this until we were all done eating and I came back out to the car with Eleanor, the diaper bag, my refilled drink, and a small cup of ice cream.  It was naptime for Eleanor and she was NOT happy when we had to wait outside for the locksmith and she wasn't allowed to wonder around the dangerous parking lot.  She's the one who ended up eating the ice cream though, so I think that made it slightly better for her.  ;)  Otherwise the trip was great, but that's an hour of my life that I don't care to repeat!
